Yes. Thanks to its good heat transfer resistance, Parador engineered wood flooring can be laid both as a floating or completely glued installation on hot
water or modern electric underfloor heating systems. (max. surface temperature 28° C).
Can Parador engineered wood flooring be laid on old plastic or linoleum floors?
Yes, provided that the floor is even enough. To compensate for slight uneven patches and to reduce ambient and impact noise, a suitable underlay from
the Parador accessories range should be laid.

To what extent can engineered wood flooring be subject to punctiform loads?
Different types of wood vary in terms of hardness, so there is no single answer to the question. Wood from coniferous trees is generally softer than wood
from deciduous trees. The so-called Brinell hardness gives information about a wood’s load bearing capacity. The higher the value, the higher the loading

As a natural product, the attributes of engineered wood flooring always differ. For a balanced appearance, it is recommended that planks are mixed from
several packages before being laid.
What distance to walls (expansion joint) should be maintained?
2200 x 185 mm
The distance to walls or the expansion joint should be at least 10 - 15 mm on each side, more on larger areas.
What do you have to consider when laying engineered wood flooring from room to room?

What characterises oiled engineered wood floors compared to lacquered ones?
Lacquered engineered wood flooring protects the wood better against mechanical stress and is easy to care for. Oiled engineered wood flooring looks
more natural, but the wood is directly exposed to mechanical stress. With the proper care, the natural quality is retained and the floor can be repaired or
renovated at the necessary parts.
