Residual heat transfer into heating system and water heating

Description: A very interesting solution which consists in transferring residual heat from production process
into heating and hot service water heating system. The production is based on manufacture of
plastic products like pipelines and various shaped pieces, etc.
For production, injection presses are used, producing heat from oil and mould cooling. Heat from the machines is
conducted into 8000l central drain pit. From this drain pit, water of 15°C temperature is transferred into heat pump
and then cooled to temperature of 9°C. Heating power from MACH heat pumps is fed into central boiler house. During
operation, it was found out that the heat produced during the production is fully sufficient to provide thermal comfort
and heat up hot service water.
Return on investments was 2 years.
