Panacol Vitralit® 4731 is a medium viscosity, flexible and
transparent UV adhesive primaly designed for plastic, plastic/glass
and plastic/metal bonding. It has good adhesion to a wide range of
other materials including ceramics and metals.
Vitralit® 4731 is well suited for bonding of transparent plastics with
low UV transmission such as PC and PMMA. The medium viscosity
of this product makes the adhesive well suited to applications were
gap filling behavior is required.
Vitralit® 4731 meets requirements for the USP Class VI as well as
ISO 10993-5 and is suitable for use in the assembly of disposable
medical devices. It is compatible with different kinds of sterilization
processes.
Typical properties:
- Viscosity: 900 - 1,500 mPas - Specific density: 1.0 - 1.1 - Refractive Index: 1.471 - Hardness ShoreD: 20 - 40 - Temperature Resistance: -40 to +120°C
- Colour: transparent
