ANNOUNCEMENT Board of Directors Personel Changes ZNOJMO (April 16th, 2008) – PEGAS NONWOVENS SA (“PEGAS” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce changes in its Board of Directors. Effective as of April 8th, 2008, Mr. Marek Modecki was appointed as nonexecutive director and member of the Board of Directors of PEGAS, subject to a final approval of the general meeting of shareholders to be held on June 16th, 2008. Mr. Modecki is currently a senior banker and member of the Supervisory Board of Concordia Espirito Santo Investment Ltd. in Poland, responsible for mergers & acquisition and private banking. He graduated from the Warsaw University with Master’s degree in law and also studied International Law at Max Planck Institute in Hamburg and law at University in Hamburg. Mr. Modecki has an extensive professional experience in advisory and financing and has been serving on supervisory boards of several companies listed in the Warsaw Stock Exchange. His nomination to the Board of Directors of PEGAS was proposed by Templeton Asset Management Ltd., currently the largest shareholder of the Company. Following the departure of non-executive directors John Halsted and Henry Gregson representing previous principle shareholder Pamplona Capital Partners I, LP in the last year, the Board of Directors currently consists of four executive directors Miloš Bogdan, Aleš Gerža, František Řezáč and František Klaška and of other two non-executive directors Bernhard Lipinski and David Ring.
