RC Rallye Český Krumlov in the exhibition area of České
Budějovice again
The fourth edition of RC Rallye Český Krumlov will take place in the exhibition area of
České Budějovice on Saturday 3rd May. The RC rally is part of the background program
once again. However, there are some innovations to this year competition.
This year RC Rallye Český Krumlov won’t be an open meeting but a part of a series. So there will be
points into overall standings of ÚAMK RC Rally Cup Český Krumlov for the first time in short history of
this popular competition. The radio-controlled cars championship of Český Krumlov also starts its 10th
season.
RC Rallye Český Krumlov 2014 also brings enlargement of the passing, where the drivers fight for
seconds. In the past, the whole race took place in one clocked test that was located close to the
harpin of Super SS in České Budějovice exhibition area. The organizers add another test so the RC
rally will include two SS.
Overall, the schedule of RC Rallye Český Krumlov includes eight SS. The race cars in 1:10 scale will
move to Český Krumlov, where they will be parked in Jelení zahrada. The parc fermé will be located
there close to the final ramp of the “big” rally. The prize-giving ceremony is the icing on the cake with
the best drivers awarded right on the final ramp in Jelení zahrada usually in great atmosphere
created by massive crowd.
Every owner of a car in 1:10 scale runned by an accumulator can take part in the 4th RC Rallye Český
Krumlov. The complete technical regulations are available via www.rca-ck.com. There are also
application form, time schedule and supplementary regulations on that website. The applications will
be closed on Tuesday 29th April. Do not hesitate, the number of participants is limited.
We hope the participants will fill the start list of 4th RC Rallye Český Krumlov and there will be cars
both contemporary and historic to be seen. Let us remind that there have already been RC WRC cars
such Ford Focus WRC or Citroën Xsara WRC, S2000 vehicles such as Peugeot 207 S2000 and Škoda
Fabia S2000 or even legendary B class cars. Those were Lancia Delta S4, Ford RS200 and MG Metro
6R4. Obviously, there were also Škodas – famous 130s, Favorit 136 L or the fore mentioned Fabia
Super 2000.
There isn’t much time left so take this news as an invitation to 4th RC Rallye Český Krumlov too and
get involved as a competitor or at least a spectator.
