Compliance with national and international laws and regulations is one of the key principles of
Hermes corporate policy and protection of the environment is a core constituent of our corporate

As a consequence, as long ago as 1996, Hermes was the first European abrasives factory to be
successfully audited on a voluntary basis in line with the EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme).
The management system currently being implemented covers all areas of the company, with processes relevant to the environment, as well as to quality, being described and monitored internally
as well as certified externally by the TÜV-Nord organization in line with DIN EN ISO 14001 : 2009.
