New York is exciting city of skyscrapers. It is situated on the eastern coast of the USA at the mouth of the Hudson river and East river. Skyscrypers are situated mainly in Manhattan. NY is often nicknamed the Big Apple.

The New Yorkers like spending their time in Central park on Manhattan. There are a lot of lakes there. People can walk, run, take a boat on a lake, play baseball or just relax away from the noise and the traffic.
5th Avenue is New Yorker´s most famous shopping centre.
South Manhattan
Times Square is the entertainment centre of New York. It is full of theatres, bars, restaurants. On New Year´s Eve, New Yorkers come to Times Square to celebrate
the New Year.
Macy´s is one of the biggest shops in the world.
