Bf 109 E-4 mitt PeilG IV Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-4 (or E-3), W.Nr. unknown, G9+JV (G9+GV), 10./NJG 1, july – august 1941, Köln – Osthgeim base. The planes equipped with PeilG IV (Peilgerät IV) outfit. This Staffel used for the short time single-seated Bf 109Es for night fighting. It was formed from original IV. (N)/JG2) armed with older Bf 109Cs & Ds. As 10th Staffel should it use „U“ as last code letter but this one was used by original 10. Staffel so the unit used the next letter - "V". This staffel did no score any victory and was stepwise renamed in October 1941 to Jagdstaffel Holland and in December 1941 to 2./JG 1. It is very inerresting that it was under command of III. Gruppe NJG 1 while old 10. Staffel NJG 1 armed with Bf 110s belonged to IV. Gruppe NJG 1. The change of the gravity centre and new aerodynamical characteristics of Bf 109E equiped with PeilG IV were eliminated by the use of a new bigger rudder. Letouny vybaveny zaøízením PeilG IV (Peilgerät IV). Tato Staffel pouívala krátkodobì jednomístné Bf 109 E k noènímu stíhání. Vznikla z pùvodní IV.(N)/JG 2 vyzbrojené staršímy typy Bf 109 C a D. Jako 10. Gruppe NJG 1 Zmìnu tìištì a nové aerodynamické charakteristiky Bf 109 E vybavené zaøízením PeilG IV, eliminovala nová, vìtší smìrovka.
