Jeho talent neunikl pozornosti Philippa Herreweghe,
Williama Christie či Jordi Savalla. V této sezóně ho
uslyší newyorská Carnegie Hall, pařížské Théâtre des
Champs-Elysées či Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Jeho
vůbec první sólová nahrávka získala Prix Alfred Deller.
Damien Guillon, mladý umělec velkého talentu!
Letos slaví 25 let od svého založení. Pro hudební svět
objevili nepřeberné množství repertoáru 17. a 18. století,
od děl operních po skladby komorní. Pražský koncert je
součástí ambiciózního projektu provedení všech osmi
knih madrigalů Claudia Monteverdiho. V Praze zazní kniha
„Sedmá“ z roku 1619.
Je prvním kontratenoristou světa, který vystoupil na slavné
The Last Night of the Proms. Nahrávka „O Solitude“, kterou
natočil pro prestižní label Decca a která z velké části kopíruje
jeho pražskojarní program, získala v roce 2012 BBC Music
Magazine Award. Andreas Scholl? Hluboký prožitek
a technická dokonalost.
en � His talent has not escaped the attention of

This season, he will be heard at New York’s Carnegie
Hall, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, and
the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. His very first solo
recording won the Prix Alfred Deller. Damien Guillon is
a very gifted young artist!
en � This year, the ensemble will be celebrating the 25th
anniversary of its founding. For the music world, it has
discovered an enormous quantity of repertoire of the 17th
and 18th centuries, ranging from big operas to chamber
music. The Prague concert is part of an ambitious project
for the performance of all eight books of madrigals by
Claudio Monteverdi.
en � He is the world’s first countertenor to appear at
the famed Last Night of the Proms. In 2012, his recording
“O Solitude“ for the prestigious Decca label won the BBC
Music Magazine Award. His Prague programme will largely
repeat the contents of that recording. Andreas Scholl?
