1. Read the text carefully and draw in the picture of the flat. (Pečlivě si přečti text a

a) Hello, I´m Carol. This is my flat. It is a small flat but nice. There are two bedrooms, a
living room and a big kitchen. I haven’t got a dining room. The bedrooms are on the
left. On the right there is a bathroom, then a kitchen and a living room.
b) I live with my friend Jenny. She is a student. She lives in the first bedroom. There is a
big window opposite the door. Under the window there is a big desk with a chair.
Next to the door on the right there is a wardrobe, and on the left there is a big bed.
c) And now my bedroom. I have a big window on the right. Opposite the door there is
my bed. It isn’t big. Under the window there is a big green plant. Next to the door
there is a big desk and a chair.
d) In my living room there are three cupboards on the right. On the middle cupboard
there is a TV. The sofa is opposite the cupboards and it is yellow. Next to the sofa
there is a lamp. Next to the door on the left, there is a big bookcase. I love books.
And opposite the door there is a window. Under the window there is an orange
armchair.
